A homicide was registered in the early hours of Tuesday (31) in a bar located on Avenida Tocantins, in the central sector of the municipality of Palmeirante. The victim was killed with several blows from a bladed weapon.

At the scene, military police found the victim, identified as Ildemar Bezerra das Neves, 23 years old, already deceased. According to the Military Police, the body presented multiple perforations. The area was cordoned off to preserve the crime scene, and the Scientific Police were called to conduct the forensic examination.

According to preliminary information, the crime was allegedly motivated by previous disagreements between the victim and the suspect, Maicon Douglas Campos da Silva, 20 years old.

After inquiries in the vicinity, the police located the suspect at a residence near the crime scene. During the approach, he presented an injury to his forearm. The man was initially taken to a health unit and then to the regional hospital, where he underwent suturing. After receiving medical attention, he was taken to the Central Police Station, where he remained at the disposal of the police authority.

Images circulating on social media show the moment of the crime. In the video, the victim appears to be stabbed, apparently with a pocketknife, inside the establishment.

The weapon used in the crime has not yet been located. According to the Military Police, the rapid action of the teams made it possible to identify and arrest the suspect, contributing to the maintenance of public order and forwarding the case for investigation
