COMRAT, MOLDOVA – NOVEMBER 11, 2020 21-year-old Anna Leikovic studied at a prestigious medical school and wanted to be an Instagram star. Her now inactive account “leksaaam” had almost 14 thousand subscribers. Anna was an only child and was often home alone because her mother went to Germany for work. Unfortunately, she got involved with the wrong crowd and started using drugs.

When her 40-year-old mother Praskovya Leikovic returned from Germany, she became suspicious that her daughter was under the influence of drugs. She wanted to send her to rehab. Anna responded by grabbing a kitchen knife and stabbing her mother with it. While she was still alive, Anna cut out her heart, lungs and intestines. After her mother was gutted, Anna went to wash off the blood and then went out with her friends.

About 72 hours after the murder, Anna was detained by the police in her friend’s apartment. She was later brought to trial where she showed no remorse. She laughed out loud at the judge, then lay down on the dock and cleaned her nails.
