On Thursday evening, November 13th, in Bad Kleinen, Schwerin, in the northern German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a German stabbed a Turkish döner kebab shop owner to death after he was hungry.

In the incident, which took place at Shabi's Kebahaus in Bad Kleinen, Schwerin, in the northern German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Turkish citizen Mazlum Akar, who runs the döner kebab shop, offered food to a person who said he was hungry and asked for help.

After eating his meal, the 37-year-old German man fell asleep at the table. He then suddenly stood up and stabbed 31-year-old Mazlum Akar, who was serving him food.

Akar tried to walk away from the shop, but the German suspect followed him and continued to attack him on the street. Akar died shortly thereafter. The suspect was taken into custody by police in the supermarket parking lot next to the murder scene. An investigation into the incident is reportedly ongoing.

Following the murder of Mazlum Akar by a 37-year-old German, the Turkish Consulate General in Berlin contacted German authorities, requesting that all aspects of the murder be fully investigated.
