Security camera footage obtained by the newsroom on Tuesday (20) reveals that at least six men are involved in the murder of José Arimatea de Oliveira Toledo, 32, known as “Pingo”, which occurred on Monday night (19), in the Falcão neighborhood, in Cunha.

According to the recordings, four armed men chased the victim, who tried to run away when he noticed the suspects. During the escape, “Pingo” fell on the sidewalk. Even on the ground, he was hit by several shots, including shots to the head and other parts of the body. One of the criminals even kicked the victim before fleeing.

After the crime, the group boarded a vehicle and a motorcycle and fled the scene, heading in an unknown direction.

The murder occurred around 7 pm, on Alameda Francisco da Cunha Menezes, in front of the victim's workplace. Initially, witnesses reported that two men on a motorcycle had surprised “Pingo”, but the new images indicate a greater involvement in the attack.

The SAMU team was called, but upon arriving at the scene they only confirmed the death. The body remained at the scene until the arrival of the Scientific Police, who carried out the forensic work.

The case is being investigated by the Civil Police of Cunha, which is seeking to identify and arrest those involved. The motive for the crime has not yet been clarified, and so far, no one has been arrested.
