Description
A couple died after being run over while traveling on a motorcycle and were violently run over by a box truck, on Rua Iraq, in the Greater Vitória neighborhood, East Zone of Manaus.
The motorcyclist and his wife were thrown against the gutter and as they were not wearing helmets, according to the Samu team, they suffered head trauma.
The trunk truck driver, who had a supposed helper by his side, still stopped the vehicle, looked at the couple on the ground and then left without helping the victims.
After confirming the deaths, a team of military police officers from the 4th Community Interactive Company (Cicom) who were at the scene, called the forensic experts and the Legal Medical Institute.
The collision that caused two deaths is being investigated by the Police Station Specialized in Traffic Accidents (DEAT) and the names of the man and woman have not yet been released.
