A thief was caught stealing cables from a moving truck on the BR-226 highway in Teresina, Piauí. The incident was captured on video, showing the perpetrator risking his life amidst the truck's components to extract the wiring.
The footage shows the thief near the back of the truck's cab while the vehicle is traveling along the highway. He manages to rip out the cables and jumps off the moving vehicle, fleeing with the stolen material.
The driver became aware of the situation after being alerted by another motorist. Another recording shows the truck experiencing mechanical issues after the wiring was removed during the journey.
