 to me getting therapy is complicated because for 1 my family basically doesn't care enough to get me therapy. I remember in February of this year this was this whole scenario about me because I told someone at my school I knew that I wanted to kill myself (retarded move) and they told the school. the school told my family and my grandma (who raises me cuz my mom cant) was really angry at me she beat and yelled at me and it sent me into a mental breakdown for a long time. I went outside sercetly and I tried to hang myself but it didn't work, so i could already been dead rn.. but anyways as I was saying, afterwards my family tried taking the internet away from me which pretty much worked and wasn't a big deal but then we got on the topic of getting me help since I very much needed (and still need) it. The school assigned me like a therapist but sadly the location was 3 hours away from where I live and we weren't driving there so.. I never really got therapy and my family forgot the whole thing lol... and I am the kind of person where I dont like pushing people to do things even if its really needed Idk why..  also 2 years ago I was obsessed with serial killers and that's when I first started watching gore and self harming my family took the internet away as well and said if I don't stop everything that I was doing they would send me to the mental hospital.. I continued doing it for 5 months and then they forgot.. but afterwards I got disinterested in the serial killer part so I stopped but I obviously never stopped watching gore or watching things I shouldnt on the internet. also yeah I understand the thing about help will only work if I want it but honestly I don't. I will use this as an example, my sister has been through some similar experiences, like we have both been addicted to corn, we have both cut ourselves and watched gore and she it doing better than me, gore makes her disgusted and she doesn't cut anymore, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't watch porn anymore, so I dont know why I don't want to stop doing all the things that are wrong with me, I guess I am using it all as a coping mechanism
