Birth name: Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy

On June 18, 2018, Onfroy, age 20, was murdered when he was shot near a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The attackers fled the scene in an SUV after stealing his Louis Vuitton bag containing $50,000 in cash. Four suspects were arrested and charged with first-degree murder among other charges.

I personally first listened to his music in early 2020, for he was literally buzzing back then in my country. People loved him and people lamented his tragic end. People saw him as an icon and people listened to his music when emotional. Among those who listened to his music, teenagers were the majority. Some 9- or 10-year-old kids even listened to his music and liked him for it. It’s also worth noting that some people disliked him because some of the teenagers who worshipped him really stood out as being the most immature. I personally liked--like--him, for despite his other flaws, he managed to have made some great songs at such a young age and he really tried to convey hopes and dreams through his motivational videos
