A man identified as Theerachot Pharot, 30, broke into the home of his ex-wife, Parinchaya, in Ayutthaya, Thailand, on October 5, 2025, intending to reconcile. However, the situation escalated into a shootout with his former father-in-law, Bancha Phusathong, 60. The assailant fired first, his gun jammed, and after being wounded by his father-in-law, he grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed him in the neck, killing him. The incident was captured on security cameras, which show the woman and her daughter fleeing. The suspect was arrested after collapsing outside.
