Horrific scenes of the massacre committed by US aircraft in Ghandurah North of Manbij
At least 50 civilians were killed late Thursday by a suspected U.S.-led coalition airstrike in northwestern Syria’s Aleppo province, according to a local source.
The airstrike took place in the province’s al-Ghandourah village, which is said to be under the control of Daesh.
More than 15 bodies were lifted out of the rubble, while many others remained trapped under collapsed buildings.
The attack also left around 100 other people injured, who were then taken to hospitals in Daesh-controlled cities of al-Bab and Jarabulus, northeast of Aleppo city, according to the same source. The death toll is expected to increase further because of a lack of appropriate healthcare services in the region.
