Guanajuato - Mexico. In a disturbing video spread on social networks, a woman identified as Laura Karen Rodríguez Moreno is forced by members of the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel ( CSRL ) to falsely declare that she is part of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel ( CJNG ). The recording shows Rodríguez Moreno, half-naked and surrounded by hooded and armed men, confessing an alleged relationship between the CJNG and the Municipal Police of Salamanca, Guanajuato.
Tragically, Rodríguez Moreno was found dead in the community of Valtierrilla, Salamanca. Her forced confession and the subsequent discovery of her body reflect a worrying network of violence and corruption in the region.
The video also includes threats from the CSRL hitmen, who declare that they are looking for members of the CJNG, which generates a climate of fear and insecurity in the population.
