A CCTV footage of a father and son killed in a collision with a private polytechnic college bus in the early hours of the morning near Sulur in Coimbatore has caused tragedy.
Northangadu Thangavelu belongs to Ganapathi Palayam next to Sulur in Coimbatore district. He was driving his two-wheeler towards Karumathambatti this morning to send his son Nandakumar to Kodumudi.
Then a private polytechnic college vehicle which was going towards Pollachi came near Kittampalayam 4th road and hit Thangavel and Nandakumar at high speed.
Both of them were trapped in the front wheel of the bus and died on the spot. Karumathampatti police immediately arrived at the spot and seized the body and sent it to the government hospital for post-mortem.
