The case of the murder of the musician and member of the Canalón de Timbiquí group, Lisandro Vallecilla Riascos, took a new turn , after the Cali Police confirmed that the artist died after being hit by a stray bullet during a hitman attack and not when trying to mediate a fight, as initially indicated by the same authorities.

The event occurred in the early hours of Sunday, August 20, in the middle of the traditional "auction party" of the Petronio Álvarez Festival that takes place in the Ciudad Córdoba neighborhood. Another man, against whom the attack was apparently directed, died in a hospital in the city.

"There is a hit man in that place, unfortunately this person is passing by and is shocked," said Colonel William Quintero, commander in charge of the Cali Police.

The Cali Mayor's Office revealed the poster with photographs of the alleged hit man, responsible for the crime of Riascos Vallecilla and offered a reward of up to 30 million pesos for information that would allow his capture.
