On the afternoon of this Sunday, July 2, 2023, a bloody event was captured by the security cameras of a house in the Pancasán neighborhood , Ranchón sector of the municipality of Santo Tomás, Chontales .

In the cameras it is observed where supposedly a man identified as Silvio, gives another citizen known as Pando a machete , without saying a word; he followed him and gave him the accurate machete blow between the neck and the lower part of the left ear, falling to the ground and being seriously injured .

According to an unofficial source, he reported that the event supposedly happened when these drinking friends had a heated argument over a bottle of alcohol ; The citizen who was wearing an orange shirt of unknown identity withdrew to bring a knife (machete) arriving again where they were drinking, giving him an accurate machete blow.

In this way, the residents of the neighborhood, upon seeing the situation, were alarmed; They provided first aid to the victim who was left in a pool of blood.

The victim got up looking for help and was transferred to the health center of the municipality and was later referred to the Regional Hospital Asunción de Juigalpa, Chontales; for your due evaluation of him.
