Panama- Alberto Howard Benjamín and Omar Valle Herrera were murdered this Wednesday night while they were in the vicinity of the 'Fulín Barber Shop' barbershop and the 'Chock Hou' mini-supermarket , located in Rana de Oro , Pedregal district.

According to preliminary information, armed subjects arrived in a pick-up vehicle in that sector of Rana de Oro, got out and fired repeatedly, managing to kill the two victims on the scene, one of whom was at the door of the the barbershop and the other a few meters away.

After committing this double murder, the hitmen escaped from the scene in the same vehicle they arrived in, which was located by the National Police units, abandoned, on the road that leads to Naranjal, a sector that is also located in Pedregal. The vehicle maintains a theft report.

The deputy director of the National Police, Simón Henríquez, confirmed that one of the victims , whose identity has not yet been disclosed, has a criminal record , since he had recently left a prison.

The Public Ministry and Henríquez also confirmed that another person was injured and was transferred to the Irma Lourdes Tzanetatos Hospital, in Tocumen, in stable condition.

Units of the National Police and the Public Ministry are carrying out various operations in the sector to locate the two hit men involved in this double murder, a fact that was captured by existing cameras in the place.
