Nah. There isn't much. The gas flame isn't properly directed into the balloon. It has leaked into random directions. I know its hot as hell but its just a matter of climbing fast inside ballon. My calisthenics training is gonna help.

And @ Monkey: While it looks plausible for just us/you viewers, theres no way to actually be able to grab that rope, because it is below the basket, and in its center. You can see the person which jumps appears to be close to it, but you can not climb below the basket (so gotta pray for wind at the right time, in the right direction, to maybe get hold of that rope... but here is the problem: ... such balloons only start on certain weather forecasts! there is no strong enough wind near the ground.) and you wouldnt only be burned hard, If you ever made it inside the balloon. Even If the flames face elsewhere... this balloon is still lifting off for a reason. The temperatur entering the balloon can be up to 125 °C, depending on the type of fabric, load and outside temperature... which means there is also no air to breathe inside of that balloon, specially no air that wouldnt burn your lung. So time to suffocate... None of your ideas would work you delusional wanna-be-smarty-ass. And even If you managed to puncture holes in it... They are designed to not instantly crash, even If the fabric is damaged they come down slowly. The time it takes for you to bring it down is time that you dont have in this situation. Edit: You would have to climb to very top, and puncture holes in there, for a quicker descent. Which is Impossible, and would still take too long.

Even with a gaping big hole it would still rise rapidly due to the amount of heat coming from the fire.
