This Monday, January 24, a video that outraged Mexico due to the brutality and impunity of the acts captured by the camera went viral. And it is that you can see how Matías, a taquero from the municipality of Caborca, Sonora , was mercilessly beaten by alleged hitmen .

In the 42-second clip you can see how two armed men , with ballistic vests, hit the taquero with their rifles. Later they ask him to lie on the ground, but when he refuses, the aggression continues until he is lying in a fetal position.

Once on the ground, the armed civilians unleashed their fury and crushed Matías with kicks, punches and even with a large thick stick. At least 32 blows were received by the man, who did not say a word and you could only hear his groans of pain.

Shortly after the disclosure of the video, which appears to have been made by the criminals themselves, the Sonora Attorney General's Office approached the victim through the Criminal Investigation Ministerial Agency (AMIC).

Through a statement on social networks, he reported that an investigation folder was initiated based on the events seen in the clip. It was the same court that confirmed that the authorities were already in contact with the victim.


Although at first it emerged that the beating was for an alleged charge of a flat, the Prosecutor's Office pointed out that it was derived from a verbal altercation with a client to whom he decided not to sell food.

In turn, the body indicated that it seeks to find those responsible so that they answer for the facts, as well as for the possession of what can be seen in the video as firearms.
