Woman Is Stabbed During Robbery In The Historic Center of Salvador

Description

During an attempted robbery, a criminal stabbed a woman in the Santo Antônio neighborhood of Salvador. The crime happened in Travessa dos Perdões on Wednesday (13).

According to the Civil Police, the victim was going to work. The assailant arrived behind the woman and surprised her with a voice of assault. He tries to grab the woman's backpack and fails. He shows a knife to the victim.

Upon seeing the object, the woman tried to flee, but received several stab wounds from the man who held her by the arm. After the blow, the man fled and left the woman's backpack on the floor.

Police said the woman was treated at Hospital Português, in the Graça neighborhood. There is no information about the victim's condition. The Military Police said that two vehicles went to the scene, but did not find the man.
