Description
The two workers electrocuted while working this morning (12) on the construction of a shed on the side of the BR-376, in Fátima do Sul, were identified.
Anderson Rodrigo Sebastião Batista, 36, died charred. A resident of Jardim Paraíso, in Fátima do Sul, he was on his first day of work as a construction worker.
Mason José Roberto dos Santos, 55, resident in Jardim dos Ipês, in the same city, had 85% of his body burned, was rescued by firefighters and taken to Santa Casa in Campo Grande.
Anderson and José Roberto pushed the metal structure used to assemble the scaffolding close to the building. The upper end of the frame touched the high voltage cables. Anderson had his body completely charred. The recognition was made by relatives, at the IML.
The neighboring city, Vicentina – with 6,100 inhabitants – was without electricity for some time because the Energisa concessionaire had to turn off the grid during the work of the Civil Police forensics.
