At approximately 11:52 a.m. on September 25, a thunderstorm accompanied by lightning struck the area near the Customs Roundabout in Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An Province. Many people were traveling by motorbike and car along Truong Thi Street, Le Hong Phong Street, and Le Nin Avenue.

At that moment, a bolt of lightning struck the road near the roundabout, creating a flash of light. Nearby, a woman was riding her motorbike from the direction of Truong Thi Street toward Cua Dong General Hospital.

Following the lightning strike, the woman's motorbike swerved unsteadily before veering onto the roadside in front of a hotel entrance, causing her to fall to the ground.

Officials from the Truong Vinh Ward People's Committee confirmed the incident, stating that a woman was struck by lightning while passing through the Customs Roundabout area. The victim has been identified as Ms. H.T.H. (47 years old).
