Lingkaran - The mugging that occurred near the Srimulya Village Head Office, Sako, Palembang on Wednesday (26/1/22). There are two robbers who have been arrested who were almost killed by residents, not only the perpetrators but the two-wheeled vehicle used by the perpetrators were also burned by the residents.

"Yes, that's right, there were two perpetrators. Now it has been secured," explained the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Palembang Polretasbes, Kompol Tri Wahyudi.

The mugging incident that happened to a 36-year-old woman, the two perpetrators who came riding a motorcycle suddenly pulled the victim's bag.

"The incident started when the victim was in front of the scene with a bag, then suddenly the two perpetrators came on a motorbike and immediately took the victim's bag," said Tri.

The victim fell and suffered injuries to the leg as a result of being dragged to hold his bag which was taken by the perpetrator.

"The victim who fell suffered a number of abrasions and then chased the perpetrator with the help of local residents," Tri said.

The two perpetrators who felt panicked because they were known by the residents in carrying out their actions tried to escape from the tantrums of the residents, but the two perpetrators were successfully arrested by the residents and were enraged by the crowd by burning the perpetrators and their vehicles before being secured by the police.
