On the afternoon of Wednesday, September 10, a gas pipeline exploded near the Puente de la Concordia bridge in the Iztapalapa municipality , causing a massive fire and the need for emergency response teams.
Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada went to the accident site and reported that a total of 70 people were injured .
In the afternoon, the head of government, Clara Brugada, reported that of the 70 people injured, three died and two were unidentified.
