Mate, that first hit was detrimental, probably the first one was enough to killed him. We're strong and weak at the same time. I'm a really paranoid person, I don't trust in a lot of people. In the UK I'm allowed to wear a stab proof vest, I paid nearly £200 for it, but is a low profile one. I can't carry nothing for self defence sadly, but I sleep with a bolo machete next to me. @Dobryy69 is better safe than sorry, also don't underestimate the power of a powerful flashlight or torch, I've 5 flashlights 2 floods and 3 spotters. Call me crazy but, I've a riot shield for home defence.

I don't think you're crazy at all, regular people who don't know what real violence is would tho, I've never thought of a flashlight thanks for mentioning it, considering you're in the UK only a fool wouldn't take those measures, there are knifes or sharp objects made of G10 undetectable by metal detectors that are small easy to carry and draw that you can get, like a G10 push dagger. there's a book "100 deadly skills" by Clint Emerson it teaches how to conceal carry weapons make them, avoiding and escaping dangerous situations, great stuff.

LOL I was attacked by my ex, while I was sleeping. Bitch her excuse was 'But I was sleep walking, I swear'. Anyway, yeah people only understand violence after violence most of the time. The good thing about a bed room is that it is in the house, so you can have every legal object used for sports or construction, cleaning etc. Baseball bat, walking cane, (antique) swords, camping knives, kitchen knives, meat cleaver. Hammer. Axe. A sock with a lead ball. A chain with a heavy lock. The good thing about blades and blunt objects is they never jam and they never run out of bullets

The problem with knifes for me, is they're to short and somebody can snatch it from my hand, i attached my machete to my wrist with some paracord, I paid like £20 for a riot helmet with plastic visor, I've to defend my wife she is I'll and I'm by my self.
