There is no direct conflict between NATO and Russia and im sure little Putin thanks the lord every day for that, and thats only because both sides has an ace up their sleeves known as nukes, the end game. If you took those out of the equation NATO would probably already have shelled every inch of Russian territory back to the Jurassic time period. When considering NATOS capabilities and compare them with russia the western alliance is a completely other level in almost every single aspect, its like comparing the latest German sports car with an old rusty Lada from the 70s with four flat tires.
 
Ive heard russia announce a special military operation more than 3 years ago? apparently a quick fix they said, yet after hundreds of thousands russian soldiers dead and killed by the cute little neighbor country Ukraine.
