1) The phrase "sit on a bottle" is heard so often that it seems as if it has always existed.
However, this expression only began to enter into common usage after 2012, when a man who was taken there from a police station died in a Kazan hospital.
He had injuries to his rectum and other internal organs, and he himself managed to say that the officers detained him and raped him with a champagne bottle in an attempt to extract a confession.

A little later, in 2014, a video from a military unit in Vladikavkaz appeared online, where Caucasian soldiers mocked a Russian guy and forced him to apologize for insulting Muslims.
As you might guess, they also made him sit on a bottle.

2) Never throw a drug shop
