KAJANG – A man who acted by sticking his foot out on the tire of a lorry at a traffic light near Jalan Pekan Bangi Lama, here, yesterday is believed to have been under the influence of drugs.

The incident at about 10.45 am was recorded on the lorry's dashcam.

Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said that his department received a report regarding the incident from a 33-year-old man at around 4.48 pm.

According to him, the driver stated that an unknown man had put his foot on the rear right tire of the lorry.

“When the complainant got off for inspection, the suspect was found on the side of the road with his motorcycle and was believed to be in a state of ecstasy.

“The suspect, who is a 43-year-old local man, is currently in hospital for further treatment and is still in a state of ecstasy, believed to be under the influence of drugs,” he said in a statement today.

Further commenting, Naazron said that the results of the check found that the suspect had 19 drug case records and two previous criminal cases.

“Arrests will be made when the treatment procedures for the suspect are completed and the case is being investigated under Section 336 of the Penal Code.
