A 68-year-old barangay guard in San Rafael, Rodriguez, Rizal was repeatedly stabbed. The suspect filmed the crime himself using his own cellphone.
Initial investigation revealed that the victim, Bert Javier, was last seen in the bar with the suspect, Victor Enavia, 33 years old and a businessman.
For reasons that have yet to be determined, he stabbed Javier several times with a sharp weapon.
Rodriguez MPS police officers immediately responded to a report from a concerned citizen. They found Javier injured and unconscious and rushed him to Ynares Hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.
The suspect was arrested in the same barangay.
His live-in partner surrendered the cellphone used by the suspect to videotape the crime.
