A 19-year-old girl was brutally attacked by her boyfriend on Wednesday morning (14), in Livramento de Nossa Senhora, in the southwest of Bahia. The crime was allegedly motivated by jealousy, according to the victim's father. According to information obtained by the website 97news, the attacker, identified only by the nickname “ph”, cornered the young woman with the help of an accomplice, who recorded the entire action. In the images, it is possible to see the moment in which the attacker uses a board to hit his partner, who tries to defend herself by placing her hands in front of her body. In a threatening tone, he also utters offensive and intimidating phrases, such as: “Take your hands off, you wretch” and “You never lie again, did you think it would go unnoticed?” The victim's father only discovered the attacks at night, when he saw the bruises on his daughter's body. He called the Military Police around 9 pm, at Praça Pôr do Sol, and reported the case. The young woman, badly injured, was advised to seek medical attention at the city's 24-hour UPA. On the morning of this Thursday (15), the victim's father was also instructed to file a police report at the Livramento Territorial Police Station. After the crime, the attacker fled and, to date, has not been located. The case is being investigated by the Civil Police. The victim continues to receive medical and psychological support.
