On April 16, a freight train and a Lada collided in the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. This is reported by the Central MSUT of the IC of Russia.
The accident occurred at about 16.10 at a railway crossing near the Roika station. According to preliminary data, the driver of the VAZ-2107 tried to drive through a forbidding semaphore signal. The train driver tried to brake urgently, but failed to prevent a collision. The driver and passenger of the car were injured in the incident.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the woman died, the driver was taken to a medical facility.
