The police are investigating the death of a man in the municipality of Calçoene in the early hours of Tuesday 12th.
According to a report from the Integrated Center for Social Defense Operations (Ciodes), Denivaldo Pereira, whose age has not been revealed, was executed at around 0.20 a.m. on Beira Rio street.
The victim was in a commercial establishment, talking to two people, when they pulled out firearms and fired several shots at him. They then fled.
Forensics were requested for the scene of the violent death and the body was removed by the Scientific Police.
Members of the 12th Military Police Battalion made efforts to identify and locate the suspects, but were unsuccessful.
Denivaldo Pereira, according to the police, was on parole and was being prosecuted for drug trafficking.
The case will be investigated by the Civil Police.
