Chilpancingo, Guerrero, February 20, 2024.- A confrontation between alleged members of the criminal organizations “Los Tlacos” and “La Familia Michoacana”, left 17 dead in the mountains of the municipality of San Miguel Totolapan, in the region from the Tierra Caliente of Guerrero.
According to reports from residents of that part of the mountains, the confrontation occurred at noon on Monday at a point known as Piedra Concha.
In the confrontation, 16 men believed to be members of the Familia Michoacana and one from Los Tlacos died.
In a video circulating on social networks, several bodies are seen lying bloody and in the background the voice of a man can be heard, who assures that the dumped victims belong to La Familia Michoacana.
