The Civil Police began investigating an attempted murder that occurred on Sunday night (18) against a woman in a bar, in Marabá, southeast of the state.
Rannah Thaís de Sousa Santana, 27 years old, is hospitalized in a delicate condition at the Marabá Regional Hospital. She was shot several times while she was at the bar in Bairro Liberdade, Núcleo Cidade Nova and has a bullet lodged in her head.
According to security camera images that the police had access to, the crime was committed by two men who were on a motorcycle. The criminal who allegedly fired the shot was wearing a yellow shirt, jeans and helmet and the motorcycle driver was wearing a black shirt. After the crime, the pair fled towards Rua 26 de Junho, towards the Vavazão bathhouse.
A Military Police garrison was carrying out patrols in the Liberdade neighborhood when people reported the shooting that had occurred in the bar. An ambulance from Samu (Mobile Emergency Care Service) had been called, but due to the delay in care, the family decided to take the woman to the Marabá Regional Hospital.
According to information from family members, despite being conscious, Rannah Thaís has a bullet lodged in her head. She has already undergone a surgical procedure and they had to remove one of her kidneys. The shots also hit other organs, such as the spleen.
