Alto Paraná: Brothers die dismembered in serious traffic accident
Two brothers died when a truck hit in the town of Domingo Martínez de Irala, Alto Paraná, while they were going to the aid of another injured family member. Both suffered terrible dismemberments, according to reports.
The fateful event occurred on Sunday night in the town of Domingo Martínez de Irala, department of Alto Paraná. The deceased were going to the aid of another brother who suffered a traffic accident.
The fatal accident occurred on route Py 07 at Km. 162 in the Jepopyhy neighborhood of the municipality of Domingo Martínez de Irala when the bicycle driven by Ademar Alder Valeriano, a 37-year-old Paraguayan, rammed into the back of a truck.
The motorcyclist was accompanied by his 32-year-old sister Adriana Alves, both of whom lived in the town of Los Cedrales. Both lost their lives immediately due to the strong collision. According to the medical report, Ademar suffered dismemberment while his sister died decapitated, which showed the magnitude of the impact.
The truck driver was subjected to an alcohol test that produced a negative result, but due to tax regulations he was detained when it was also found that the documents he presented did not match the data on the truck. This is Juan Carlos Caballero, a 65-year-old driver, resident in Ciudad del Este.
The deceased went to the aid of another brother identified as Joao Alves Valeriano, 40, also a resident of Los Cedrales, who minutes before suffered an accident when he was also riding his motorcycle.
According to the police report, he was found by passers-by with severe injuries, so it is assumed that he fell from his bicycle or was hit by another vehicle that did not stop. He was referred to a care center where the brothers were going with the intention of accompanying him.
It is believed that the bicycle driver was in a hurry to get to his brother's aid, so he was traveling at a high speed and ended up crashing into the truck, losing his and his sister's lives.
