A traffic accident occurred in the Solaklı neighborhood in Yuregir, Adana. Syrian national Ammar al-Muheymid, who was joking with his friend on the median strip on Karataş Street, suddenly jumped onto the road. Meanwhile, the minibus with plate number 01 ADF 152, whose driver's name was not known, hit Ammar and ran away. Ammar, who was thrown by the impact and hit his head on the asphalt, was seriously injured. The moment of the accident was captured on a security camera.
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident upon notice from the surrounding people. Ammar, who was taken to Adana City Training and Research Hospital after his first intervention, could not be saved despite the doctors' interventions.
M.T. went to the Provincial Police Department hours after the accident and claimed that he was driving the vehicle, and his relative H.T. with Ş.A. He was arrested.
