Man commits suicide by jumping from the El Dorado hotel on Carrera 70 in Medellín

A man took his own life this Friday, January 19, 2024 by jumping from the top floor of the El Dorado hotel, located on Carrera 70, in the city of Medellín.

The event caused commotion among witnesses, who captured the moment with their cell phones and spread it on social networks. The motives and identity of the deceased are unknown. Emergency care personnel from Medellín were present at the site.

The suicide occurred during the afternoon hours of this day, when the man, who was apparently staying at the hotel, climbed the railing of the top-floor balcony and jumped into the void.
