REMBAU - A man died after a trailer loaded with snacks and a 10-tonne lorry carrying fish were involved in an accident at Kilometer 234.7, North-South Highway heading north here, this afternoon.
In the incident, a team of officers and members from the City Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the location upon receiving a call at 2.42pm.
According to the Chief of the City Fire and Rescue Station, Zaini Saleh, three men aged 35 to 45 were involved in the accident.
"Two victims are 45 years old, while the other is five years old. One of them died, one was injured while the other survived (unharmed).
"The injured victim was handed over to the Ministry of Health (KKM), while the dead victim was handed over to the police for further action," he told reporters, here, today.
