Description
The defence officials on Thursday retrieved the Flight Recorder, more popularly known as 'Black Box', of the ill-fated Indian Air Force helicopter that crashed in Tamil Nadu. Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat and 12 others were killed in the incident when the Mi-17VH helicopter they were travelling in crashed and went up in flames, leaving only one survivor. Meanwhile, defence minister Rajnath Singh made the statement on the incident in Parliament and said that the Indian Air Force (IAF) has ordered a tri-service inquiry and the investigation will be led by Air Marshal Manavendra Singh.
