Description
An 18-year-old man was shot dead during a New Year's Eve party on Ponta de Pedras beach, in the municipality of Goiana, in Pernambuco's Zona da Mata Norte (see video above). A 19-year-old man was arrested in the act of firing the shot, according to the Civil Police.
The case took place in the early hours of Monday morning (1st), during the New Year celebrations at one of the city's centers. The crime was recorded by a security camera.
The images are strong and show a great rush inside an establishment, where there were many people, including children.
At that moment, the young man ran into the place, when he fell to the ground, tripping over a wooden pillar. According to the police, he had already been shot before appearing in the images.
The case is being investigated by the Goiana Police Station. According to the police, the arrested suspect was sent for a custody hearing.
