Footage from a security camera shows the moment when shopkeeper José de Gois Ferreira, 59, was shot dead after a robbery at his establishment in Vila Albert Sampaio, in rural Rio Branco.
The scenes are strong and last about six minutes. A pair of criminals burst into José's bar, assaulted the businessman and stole belongings from the establishment and the customers who were there.
Minutes later, the businessman reappears with a gun to try and scare the bandits away. One of them manages to take the gun out of José's hands and shoots him in the head. The victim died on the spot.
