The fire of a truck on the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho highway, after a collision with other vehicles in the direction of Caracas Guarenas, has so far left 8 dead and several injured, on the morning of this Wednesday, December 13.

Social media users reported that the event occurs near the Araguaney sector, in the state of Miranda and due to the extent of the flames, land traffic has been suspended in both directions.

Apparently, the accident involved a cargo vehicle, a public transport vehicle and a truck loaded with a flammable product and ten other cars.

The commander of the Capital District Firefighters, Pablo Antonio Palacios, through his account on the social network X, indicates that so far about 8 people have entered care centers without vital signs. Unofficially, it is known that at least 10 victims have been transferred to healthcare centers.

Our co-worker, Santiago Gutiérrez , had access to the identification of about five fatalities, who were transferred to a care center in Guarenas.

• Another identified as José Gregorio.

On the other hand, it is said that among the victims was a family including the couple and two children, who were traveling aboard a crane and who were burned to death.
