It is a video from the beginning of the war, published by a Wagner Telegram channel which has been deleted. The guy was an alleged rapist who had raped several teenagers and a 10-year-old girl in a "pro-Russian" town a few kilometers from where it was done. First they broadcast a video identifying the guy and saying that he had better not let himself be captured, because they were going after him and they planned to castrate (no kill). The day before capturing him, they made another video saying that they had located where he was and that they were going to try to capture him alive.

I never watched these videos outside of the channel, although I did watch them myself. I don't understand Russian so I don't know exactly what they were saying, although I did translate the text that accompanied them and read more or less what they were saying on other channels, that's why I know what they were saying. This video is the only one I've seen since the channel was removed.

If what he did is true, they fell short. Now, we will never know the truth:
- Ukrainian publicity made it look like there was no motive, just Russian military tortured like this a "Ukrainian soldier hero", who was of course not a neo-Nazi, who had been captured. It is the news as it reached the rest of the world.
- Russian advertising said that an arrest and trial order had been issued against the perpetrators as the conflict ended. Supposedly they are identified (publicly) and it is known that at least one of them died in combat (I read it through some Telegram channel).

It is true that there was officially an apology for such behavior from the Russian side, but they disassociated themselves from the actions as they are a private group. The video continues to be published without mentioning absolutely nothing of the background. In fact, they have deleted the times that I have mentioned it, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with this text, although here it would be more understandable since I created the account just now (I'm a watcher, not a commenter, and I don't know why has given me to do it now).
