Description
A cop saw a man in a blue car look at him in traffic and then turn into a gas station while the cop was already going straight and couldn't turn in with him. He felt like the guy turned because he was avoiding the police. So the cop radioed a second cop to pull him over while he went around the block. The second cop claims the guy ran from him. You tell me if that's what you see. After that intense car chase the cop claims the guy didn't listen to his commands. So he had to break the guys arms. He was fully complying and there wasn't even a traffic violation. Just the first cop's feeling that the guy was avoiding him. The cops refused to get him medical attention for a long time and kept moving him around. He broke both arms so any movement surely hurt. He was arrested of course.
The cop was fired from the Little Rock Police Department. But don't worry, his actions didn't disrupt his life. Months later the termination was overturned in court and he was reinstated immediately. His punishment was a month suspension, already served. He was granted backpay for the time he missed while fired. He quit the next day and was hired by the North Little Rock Police Department, same city, making more money than he did at the other job. So he basically got a promotion and vaction. Justice servered I guess.
