Description
A 44-year-old mechanic, identified as Claudiano Soares da Silva, was murdered with a machete to the head early this Friday (09), in Lagoa da Mata, in the village of Cacimba Velha, in the rural area of Teresina.
The victim's body was found near his residence and due to the brutality of the crime, there was an exposed brain mass on the floor.
According to the 5th Battalion of the Military Police, so far there is no information about suspects.
The PM also added that the hypothesis that the criminals went to execute Claudiano's brother is being investigated, but since they did not find him, they ended up killing the mechanic.
Criminal expertise teams and the Legal Medical Institute (IML) were called to the scene. The victim's body was removed by the IML.
The Homicide and Personal Protection Department (DHPP) is investigating the case.
