Two people wounded, one of them from a bullet, left a frustrated assault on subway passengers at the Bellavista de Valparaíso Station.

The incident occurred minutes before 12:30 , in circumstances that the victims were in the platform area to go to the interior of the region after withdrawing about two million pesos from a bank on Av. Brasil .

They were sitting waiting for the train when they were suddenly intimidated with a firearm by an individual who would have followed them from the bank branch. Because they resisted the theft of the bag with money they were carrying and that would be destined to pay the Christmas bonus of supermarket workers, one of them was hit with the hilt of the weapon on his head, while the other was shot in the thigh of his left leg.

The antisocial, seeing his robbery intentions frustrated, jumped over the security gate of the station, to then board a delivery-type motorcycle that was waiting for him with another subject, fleeing at full speed in the direction of Sotomayor square.

Both wounded were transferred by the Samu Litoral to the Carlos van Buren hospital, while the prosecutor on duty ordered proceedings from the IAPA of the Second Police Station and LABOCAR of the Carabineros to find the whereabouts of the criminals.
