Description
A bus containing dozens of passengers plunged into the river at the Guci tourist site, Bumijawa District, Tegal , Central Java, Sunday (7/5). The bus travels downhill with the engine running and without a driver.
Police are still investigating the cause of this accident. The bus driver and three witnesses were examined.
"The driver of the KBM Hino Tourism Bus Car PO Duta Wisata Nopol B 7260 OGA, on behalf of Romyani, a resident of Tangerang," said the Tegal Police Chief, AKBP Mochammad Sajarod Zakun in a written statement received by the coil, Sunday (7/5 ) .

The group of pilgrims, residents of North Serpong District, South Tangerang, in Kampung Pondok Serut, Paku Jaya Village, departed by bus for a tour to Guci, Bumijawa District, Tegal, Central Java.

07.50 WIB
-Buses park in the parking area of the Guci tourist attraction. The bus driver, Romyani, was warming up the engine.
08.00 WIB
-The driver got off the bus to take a shower about 15 minutes.
08.15 WIB
-Suddenly the bus drove itself down the street derivatives. The bus overturned and fell into the river.
-Residents help the victims who were on the bus.
-There were a total of 37 passengers on the overturned bus. They were taken by three health facilities, namely the Bumijaya Health Center, the Bumijawa Isyfina Clinic and the Soesilo Hospital.
-One passenger named Maja Bin H System (60) reportedly died while receiving a nurse at the Bumijawa Health Center. The rest were injured.

-The police who received the report arrived at the location and evacuated the victim, assisted by residents.
- Police line installed and passengers' belongings secured.

-The bus driver is arrested. Three witnesses were examined.
The cause of this accident is not yet known. Whether when the bus was parked, the driver put a block in the tire, applied the handbrake or not, has not been informed yet.
