Police officers from the 14th Police Subdivision (SDP) arrested this Thursday morning (4) the perpetrator (60 years old) of the homicide recorded in the Primavera neighborhood, in Guarapuava, on April 23. The individual shot his son-in-law inside a bar after an argument.
According to the Civil Police, he was arrested at home and offered no resistance. During the execution of a preventive arrest warrant, the murder weapon was seized. The elderly man was sent to the Temporary Incarceration sector, under the care of the Criminal Police Department (DEPPEN).

The situation occurred on April 23 and began with an argument between the victim (32 years old) and the woman (29 years old), daughter of the perpetrator. The Military Police (PM) incident report highlights that the woman went to the bar where he was to pick up a cell phone owned by him, however the man refused to hand it over.
Afterwards, her father (60 years old) went to the place with the same objective of getting the device, but during an argument he pulled out a firearm and fired several shots at the boy.
