This Tuesday (20), a military police officer killed his three-month pregnant wife, invaded a PM battalion, killed a colleague, injured three others and killed himself, in Pernambuco.

The wife was killed in the city of Cabo de Santo Agostinho, about 37 kilometers from the capital, Recife, where the 19th Military Police Battalion (BPM) invaded and shot at colleagues. One policeman died and three were injured. The killer, who worked in the battalion, killed himself after the crime.

According to information from the G1 portal, the police officer's name is Guilherme Barros and he shot his pregnant wife seven times.

The woman was rescued by family members and taken to the Cabo de Santo Agostinho Emergency Care Unit, but neither she nor the baby resisted the injuries.

After shooting his wife, the PM stopped a car passing by on the street and went to the battalion where he worked, where he entered the monitoring room and shot at his colleagues.

The policeman killed himself after the crimes.

The case took place late in the morning. In front of the 19th BPM, the movement of people and police was great. A vehicle from the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) was also sent to the scene.

The dead lieutenant's body was taken to the IML Recife. Two PMs shot in the battalion were taken to the Portuguese Hospital, in the central area of ​​the city.

A third police officer was taken to the Hospital da Restauração, in the Derby neighborhood, also in downtown Recife, from where he has already been discharged.
