On Tuesday, the police raided the houses of the seven named accused in the case of abetment to suicide. Salim alias Chhotu was thrashed by seven people in a dispute over a transaction of Rs 20 on Sunday night near Mohalla Motiganj railway gate of the town.

Hurt by this, Chhotu committed suicide by jumping in front of the train on Sunday night. The video of the incident went viral. It is seen in this that on Sunday night at 8.26 pm Chhotu stands on the track and in three seconds the Rajdhani Express coming at a high speed passes over him.

In the case, Shera Khan, the brother of the deceased, had registered a case against seven people. On Tuesday afternoon, on the instructions of SP Rural Satyapal Singh, CO Vivek Jawla, officiating police station in-charge Jaisingh, Chaubia police station in-charge Govind Hari Burma, SO Lavedi and investigation officer Munishwar Kumar left with the force. The houses of accused Bade alias Satish, Vikas Porwal, Lalji Porwal, Umesh Porwal, Lalla Mishra, Arun Dubey and Ravi were raided.
