Two people were shot dead in the early evening of Friday (23), in front of a market on Avenida Franklin Delano Roosevelt, on the corner of Rua Rio Parnaíba, in Parque Residencial Tuiuti, north of Maringá.

According to information provided by the Military Police (PM), the shooter arrived at the scene in a white Jeep / Renegade. The target would be Anatan Aparecido Waldomiro, who turned 30 on Friday. He went to a market to shop, the moment he left, the killer ran after the victim and fired several shots.

Waldomiro fell wounded in the middle of the avenue. At the time of the shooting, businessman Marcelo Zerbinatti, owner of the market, was also shot. After the shooting, the criminal fled. Samu rescuers were at the scene and found Anatan's death.

The businessman received the first care, but did not have time to be taken to the hospital and died on the spot. According to friends of the merchant, he would have gone to the establishment to get food and drinks for his father's birthday party.

The forensic team was at the scene and collected spent shells from a .380 caliber pistol. The case is investigated by the Maringá Homicide Police Station. According to police, Anatan, the shooter's initial target, had a criminal record. The merchant who had no relationship with the victim had no prior history. He leaves a wife and two children.
