Incident happend at Colombia.

 

The violent act left two people dead, including Néstor Ocoró, a former member of the AUC. 

It all happened in Los Alcázares.

A shooting presented in a commercial establishment, located in the Los Alcázares neighborhood, 

left two people dead and one more injured. One of the victims was a demobilized 

member of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC).



According to the authorities, the murdered people were identified as Néstor Raúl Ocoró Montaño, 

50 years old, and Carlos Francisco Chavarro, 48 years old.

Q'hubo learned that Ocoró Montaño was the owner of the nightclub where the event occurred. 

In addition, the authorities revealed that he had 17 judicial records for robbery and homicide.



"Néstor Raúl Ocoró has a record of the Calima Bloc Self-Defense Group, and was demobilized 

in 2005. The other victim, Carlos Francisco Chavarro, had no criminal record. We are 

investigating whether this fact is related to a settling of scores," he said.

Likewise, the authorities said that a 19-year-old boy was injured in this incident, 

and that he is in a state of recovery.

According to the Police, the events occurred around 11:45 p.m. m. this Wednesday 

in a liquor establishment located in the north of Cali, there two individuals with firearms 

entered the place and began to shoot, leaving Néstor Raúl Ocoró Montaño and his employee Carlos Francisco Chavarro dead.

“We heard more than 10 shots and we saw that some men on a motorcycle fled the scene. 

We went to help the wounded, but two of them were already dead, and the other was taken 

to the Joaquín Paz Borrero hospital,” said a witness from the area.

Q'hubo tried to speak with the relatives of the deceased today, but they did not 

want to give statements, however, a friend of the victim spoke to us.



"He was a very noble and well-known person in the San Luis neighborhood, he always 

stood out for being a hard worker. He worked in that establishment in the afternoons 

and on weekends. In addition, he sometimes sold lunches," he said.
